Our world is constantly changing, and just as our pupils are constantly growing and learning, so should we. We are creating the adults of the future. Much of what they will need to know, may not even have been invented yet. However, we can help prepare them by helping them develop the subject specific tools, and the inspiration to use them.
 

As teachers, how can we inspire them to love learning if we do not practice and enjoy this ourselves?
 

I am constantly learning, developing my understanding of the latest research in each of my specialist subjects, as well as in the fields of pedagogy and andragogy. Therefore, much of the CPD and support I provide utilises many of the same approaches and strategies that pupils will themselves experience in the classroom, so that their teachers can better appreciate how their class is learning, and how best they can support them.

Support can be:

to reflect specialised bespoke curriculum planning

Delivered through whole school CPD

Planned as part of a whole school action plan

Developed to build capacity and confidence
